Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, creates tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin to stimulate your body’s natural collagen and elastin production.
It is a non-surgical treatment designed to improve skin quality rather than add volume or change facial features. It can help soften fine lines, improve uneven tone and texture, refine the appearance of enlarged pores, improve acne scarring and sun-related discoloration, and support firmer, smoother-looking skin.
Microneedling can be performed on the face, neck, chest, and other areas of the body depending on your concerns and treatment goals.
HOW IT WORKS
The treatment activates your skin’s natural repair response, supporting collagen and elastin remodeling over time. As new collagen develops, the skin can gradually look smoother, firmer, and more even in tone and texture.
Treatment depth is carefully customized to the area being treated because the skin on the face, neck, chest, and body varies in thickness. More aggressive is not automatically better; the goal is to create the right amount of stimulation for the tissue and treatment goal without unnecessary trauma or downtime.
Your treatment can also be customized with hydrating or regenerative support, depending on which Vérité microneedling option you choose.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Immediately after treatment, expect the skin to appear pink or red and feel warm, tight, and sensitive, similar to a moderate sunburn. Some patients describe a temporary pulsing or “heartbeat” sensation during the first few hours.
Most of the heat, redness, tightness, and discomfort improve significantly within the first 12-24 hours. Mild swelling can occur, especially around the lower eyelid, and usually resolves within about two days. Mild flaking or peeling is also common, most often around days 3–5.

Stop retinoids, tretinoin, glycolic acid, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other active skincare approximately 5 days before your appointment.
Your skin should be calm and free of active irritation at the time of treatment.
Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area.

Yes, in appropriately selected patients, microneedling can be used in the under-eye area to help improve fine lines, texture, and overall skin quality. Because the skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate, treatment depth is adjusted carefully for that area.
Mild swelling is more common around the lower eye area and typically resolves within a few days.

Temporary redness, warmth, tightness, sensitivity, mild swelling, and light flaking or peeling are common after microneedling.
These effects are usually most noticeable during the first 24 hours and continue to improve over the next few days. Mild peeling often occurs around days 3 to 5.
